Air Filter
A particulate air filter is a device composed of fibrous, or porous materials which removes solid particulates such as dust, pollen, mold, and bacteria from the air. Filters containing an adsorbent or catalyst such as charcoal (carbon) may also remove odours and gaseous pollutants such as volatile organic compounds or ozone. Air filters are used in applications where air quality is important, notably in building ventilation systems and in engines.
Types Of Filters
- Pre- Filter
- Oil- Filter
- Carbon-Filter
Pre- Filter
The pre filters are commonly used to remove dirt, sediment, slime, rust, sand, grit and grass etc. Regular change of Filter protects RO Membrane and choking of other filters.
Oil- Filter
An oil filter is a filter designed to remove contaminants from engine oil, transmission oil, lubricating oil, or hydraulic oil.
Carbon-Filter
Carbon block filters are made of a solid block of compressed carbon and are often used as a pre-filter in reverse osmosis and other water filtration systems. Carbon block water filters are extremely effective in filtering out a variety of contaminants including very small contaminants or particle size.
